This tool serves solely as an administrative support to aid in generating summaries and preserving accurate records of counselling sessions. We take reasonable and appropriate measures to ensure client confidentiality and privacy, including minimising the inclusion of personally identifiable information whenever possible and managing all records in accordance with the ethical guidelines set forth by the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

The use of this service does not substitute for clinical judgment, and I retain full responsibility for the accuracy, security, and confidentiality of all clinical records. AI-generated transcriptions and summaries are considered part of the confidential clinical record and are stored and protected accordingly. The HPCSA is actively evaluating and developing guidelines regarding the use of AI technologies in healthcare settings.
